Ben Benson's Steakhouse

"This rollicking steakhouse has long fed hordes of hungry, beef-eating businessmen and the people who love them. At a time when steakhouses were famous for rudeness and hauteur, Benson's made a point of homeyness. No one's stopping you from checking out the daily seafood and lunch specials, but keep in mind you're in an old-school dining room devoted almost entirely to the assiduous consumption of prime aged beef."
- New York

There is most definitely a Ben Benson, and chances are, you will find him in his steakhouse. He opened this classic spot in 1982, and one can count on the fact that Mr. Benson is in complete control of everything that happens here. Great owners make great restaurants, and a meal is always better when an owner is present. It's why this place is so successful, and it's why their legion of fans keep coming back.
